Crafting & The Web

The Internet has brought crafters from all over the world to share ideas, their handmade items and even sell their items to people next door or a world away. The opportunities available to artisans and crafters to share their creativity has never been greater. Unfortunately, all that opportunity does come with a price – crafters who want to utilize the Internet for their business are finding themselves needing to learn about things like SEO, web marketing and being generally web savvy.

Blog About Crafts, as you may know, is run by a crafter with a technical, writing and marketing background. I work with small business owners to help grow their business through their websites. I offer free advice for crafters and anyone else who wishes to use it as well as explore topics that may be of interest to anyone with a website, blog or online shop.

My hope is that we can enjoy each other’s company, learn from each other and get our sites found by the search engines, fellow crafters and future customers.

Crafting & The Web contains a number of categories of articles and the latest post from each of them is showcased below. Hopefully, you’ll find something useful and please don’t hesitate to join in the conversation. Some articles may appear in more than one category.
